Sales, Asian Equities Broker Asian Institutions, Singapore, $Highly Competitive.
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top ranked equity house with a major presence in Asia and the USA.
They are now expanding their Singapore based sales team and they are looking to add a strong individual who will work in the equity sales department.
The team sells Pan Asian Equities to institutions (banks, hedge funds, long only funds, asset managers, and insurance companies) in the greater South East Asian area, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and they are now looking to add an exceptional individual to their team who will be an expert in the institutional market in these countries.
Key responsibilities:
-Broking Pan Asian (Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysian, Chinese, Thai) Equity,
-Selling to institutional investors in the greater Singapore and Hong Kong/China area (mainly hedge funds, insurance companies and banks),
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the Asian market.
Skills required:
-Very good understanding of the South East Asian institutional market,
-Proven track record within sales trading, cash equity sales or broking on Asian products,
-Good Product knowledge,
-Excellent sales and communication skills,
-Willing to join a dynamic, target driven environment.
