Our client is a fast growing global asset manager focusing on high performance. They are now looking to hire within their London based sales team. The London based sales team is looking to hire someone from a sales background who will raise assets from institutions (pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, multi managers, Funds of Funds) in the UK and Continental Europe. They are looking for someone with a good knowledge of the institutional market in the UK and/or Europe (Switzerland, France, Germany, Scandinavia) and with a good proven track record of long only and/or alternative investment.
Key responsibilities:
-Asset Raising from Fund buyers, Asset Managers, Family offices with no geographical limit in Europe and the UK
-Heading the Business Development Department of the Fund distribution platform
-Attending client meetings abroad
Skills required:
-Proven track record within a similar role
-Good understanding of the European and/or UK institutional market
-Excellent sales and communication skills
-Willing to travel.
Ideally, the successful candidate will come from a long only background and will ideally have a transferable client base. Fluency in a European language is not essential for this role but will be considered as a plus.
