An excellent opportunity has arisen within a global investment bank with a major presence in Europe and the USA.
They are now expanding their London based sales team and they are looking to add a strong individual who will work in the equity sales department.
The team sells US Equities to institutions (banks, hedge funds, long only funds, asset managers, and other institutions) in the greater London area, UK and Ireland, and they are now looking to add an exceptional individual to their team who will be an expert in the institutional market.
 
Key responsibilities
 
-Sales and trading of US (small cap, mid cap and large cap etc) Equities,
-Working across all sectors (TMT, Energy, Mining, Leisure, etc.),
-Selling to institutional investors in the UK and Ireland (mainly hedge funds, long only funds and banks),
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the UK and Irish market.
 
Skills required:

-Very good understanding of the institutional market in the United Kingdom,
-Proven track record of selling US Equities to institutions in Britain,
-Good Product knowledge,
-Excellent sales and communication skills.
