My client, a top tier Investment Bank has opened a role within their Interest Rates team.
The role involves sales of multiple rates products to a range of clients throughout German Speaking Europe (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
The Institution is looking for candidates with experience selling to different Financial Institutions, primarily Landesbanks, Banks, Insurance Companies and pension funds, asset managers, etc.
The role offers excellent exposure to the German Market for candidates really wishing to work hands on with the products they sell.
Key Responsibilities:
-Working in the sales of Rates products to a variety of Institutional Clients.
-Working across interest rate derivatives, exotics and hybrids
-Co-operating with existing clients in order to retain their business and identify their new and outstanding needs.
-Identifying new clients within the market and approaching them in regards to the products you sell and identify their needs.
-Working as part of a small team reporting to the head of Rates Sales with your findings and business deals.
Key Skills: The correct candidate for this role will have:
-A deep desire and motivation to make their name and succeed within the Rates Market.
-Excellent communication skills as they will be in contact with a range of different clients and need to strike a rapport with each one.
-Good Team working skills as well as leadership to ensure the team continues to move forward and their input is vital
-Good initiative and logical thinking to identify new clients in areas where the company hasn't worked before.
