Our client, a massive asset manager with a global presence and a strong brand name is now expanding its institutional Alternative Business Development department in Zurich and London.
They are now looking for an exceptional individual with a proven track record within a managerial role in alternative investments/Hedge Fund of Fund of fund sales to head up their Swiss business.
The team covers PAN European clients, and has an impressive and very broad client base in Europe. The successful individual will be based in London or Zurich and will be heading up Sales and Business Development for Switzerland and the German speaking market.

Key responsibilities:
-Leading the EMEA institutional sales and business development team,
-Planning sales strategies and developing sales plans,
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients,
-Actively participating in product development and strategy,
-Participating in road shows, seminars, sales/client events and make formal presentations to potential and existing clients,
-Working closely to investment management, marketing and portfolio management.

Key skills required:
-Proven track record of success within a similar sales role (preferably senior) in alternative investments,
-Excellent understanding of hedge fund, trading fund and private equity fund products,
-Established clients and ideally a transferable client base,
-Fluency in German and English is essential,
-Fluency in Italian or French will be considered as a plus,
-Excellent sales and communication skills,
-Energetic, client oriented and well organised.
