Sales, Equity Sales trading to UK/Irish Institutions, London, $Highly Competitive.
An excellent opportunity
has arisen within a top ranked equity house with a major presence in Europe and
the USA.
They are now expanding their London based sales team and they are
looking to add a strong individual who will be looking to join a young,
progressive and dynamic environment in the City. The team sells PAN European and
US Equities to institutions (banks, hedge funds, long only funds, asset
managers, and insurance companies) in the greater London area, UK and Ireland,
and they are now looking to add an exceptional individual to their team who will
be an expert in the institutional market.
Key
responsibilities:
-Sales and trading of USA and PAN European (small cap, mid cap and large cap
across all sectors – leisure, energy, petrochemical, telecoms, etc.)
Equities,
-Selling to institutional investors in the UK and Ireland (mainly hedge funds,
long only funds, asset managers and prop desks),
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the UK
and Irish market.
Skills
required:
-Very good understanding of the institutional market in the United
Kingdom,
-Proven track record of cash equity sales or sales trading or broking Equity to
UK institutional investors,
-Good Product knowledge,
-Excellent sales and communication skills and willing to join a dynamic
environment.
