Our client, an independent derivatives and structured products boutique, is looking to develop their fixed income institutional sales team by hiring a head of sales.
The house develop, structure and selling derivatives and structured products across equity, credit, interest rate and hybrids, and they're now looking to establish an accompanying sales team in the vein of a fixed income sales, agency dealing or institutional broking platform.

The role will focus on:
-establishing the business alongside the head of sales, trading and structuring and the executive management team,
-developing institutional client relationships with banks, pension funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, asset managers, private banks, regional banks, investment funds and other tier 1, 2 and 3 institutional clients,
-working with institutional clients throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US,
-recruiting sales people to grow the business out, across various regional coverage and at varying levels of experience,
-defining platform strategy and market growth in line with predetermined targets.

This role will suit a proven and experience fixed income salesperson or institutional broker with high levels of determination and ambition.

The team will work across all fixed income and equity products (cash, flow, derivatives, etc.) and the successful candidate will require:
-strong institutional client and market knowledge,
-experience selling CDS, government/corporate/financial/high yield bonds, CDOs, FRNs, ABS and other fixed income products,
-proven management experience,
-experience in developing and growing a team of salespeople,
-strong communication and organisation skills.
