Our client is a top ranked global investment bank with a massive presence in Europe, USA and Asia.
They are now expanding their London and Frankfurt based teams.
The teams structure and distribute derivatives across FX/Interest Rate and Fixed Income selling to institutional clients (banks, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies) in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
They are now looking to add an exceptional individual with a proven track record on structured rates sales and with existing client contacts with pension funds and insurers to join their fast growing sales team.

Key responsibilities:
-pricing and selling derivatives to institutional clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland,
-monitoring the institutional market for potential clients,
-maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in German speaking Europe.

Key skills:
-Ideally a proven track record of selling to banks, insurance companies and pension funds in German speaking Europe,
-strong derivatives knowledge, ideally on interest rate and foreign exchange,
-a good understanding of the local market, politics and culture of the region,
-excellent sales and communication skills,
-Fluency in English and German is essential for this role.
