Our client is a top ranked European investment bank with a massive presence in UK and Continental Europe.
They are now expanding their London based sales team and are looking to hire an excellent sales candidate who will join the Equity sales team.
The team sells PAN European Equity to institutional clients (banks, asset managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, pension funds) in the UK and Europe (Germany, Scandinavia, France, Switzerland, Benelux).
They are now looking to hire an exceptional sales person who will be an expert in the USA hedge fund and long only market.
Key responsibilities:
-Sell PAN European Equity to UK and US institutional clients (hedge funds and long only funds),
-Create and maintain an effective sales distribution network in UK and the States,
-Work closely with the Swiss and German offices to identify and engage new business prospects,
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients.
Key skills required:
-Excellent product knowledge of PAN European equity,
-Very good understanding of the UK and/or USA institutional market,
-Ideally a transferable client base including USA hedge funds and long only funds,
-Strong sales and communication skills.
