A Senior Associate originator is required for the metals/mining department of a London based team focusing on structured commodity and trade finance across EMEA and Asia.
This small but ambitious team is part of a well-respected bank and has extensive plans for growth over the next 18 months.

As a Senior Associate, you will:
-Be responsible for leading the origination of some mandates within Europe (particularly CEE) and Asia,
-Support the Director in the origination of the largest transactions,
-Undertake the transaction process from origination through to structuring and execution, working in tandem with the analysis and middle office teams in order to maintain efficiency and produce the best results for clients,
-Use your knowledge of the Metals and Mining sector in order to seek out the best opportunities,
-Achieve and exceed revenue-related targets.

Applicants should fit most of the below criteria:
-Proven experience originating, structuring and executing structured commodity or trade finance solutions, within Europe and/or Asia, within the metals and mining arena,
-Clear knowledge of relevant metals and mining clients,
-Relevant language skills for Asia (particularly Mandarin) and the CEE or CIS region would be a definite bonus but not necessarily a must,
-Already working within a structured commodity finance team covering one of these regions at Senior Analyst or Associate level.
