This top tier bank is looking to recruit an experienced energy derivatives originator to focus on corporate clients in German speaking Europe (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).

Responsibilities include:
-Originating oil and gas derivatives products for German corporates (this role will potentially also involve originating some physical products),
-Leading a team or originators to drive the expansion and development of the business from day one,
-Frequent client visits in order to best asses how to originate the most relevant energy derivatives products.

Skills Required:
-Must have a very distinguished background in the German markets and have had a large amount of corporate client contact in this region,
-Experience of originating energy derivatives products (especially on the oil&gas and power markets) ideally from an investment banking background, but utilities backgrounds will also be considered,
-Excellent client-facing skills (this role involves a high amount of client contact),
-Fluency in German is desirable.
