This top bank is looking to recruit an experienced DCM originator to join their mid-sized South African based team, covering South African emerging markets.

Responsibilities include:
-DCM origination for capital, covered and hybrid bonds in addition to vanilla bonds,
-Lots of client contact as this is a highly client-facing role, covering South African emerging markets,
-Participating in the technical aspects of DCM Origination, working on the origination and structuring of bonds, curves and there is a big emphasis on pricing of products,
-Devising new, innovative solutions for DCM emerging markets clients in Africa.

Skills Required:

-DCM origination experience to a high level – this candidate must be able to speak with clients easily as well as being technically excellent, having experience of DCM curves, bonds and pricing,
-Some high yield experience would be desirable but not essential,
-Experience within structuring would also be of interest but not essential to the role,
-Emerging markets experience would be of interest and market knowledge of South Africa/Africa would be a bonus,
-Excellent level of written and spoken English,
-It is essential that this person is a team player and fit in within a small/mid-sized team.
