This leading investment banking group is looking to recruit a structurer/originator, with experience of the emissions market, to join their large team in Sydney to work within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities include:
-The origination, structuring and execution of Clean Development Mechanism transactions for corporates,
-Project development and management of CER, GHG and CDM products for corporates on the voluntary and regulatory markets,
-The structuring and origination of heavy industry, coal mining, power and renewable energy transactions,
-Frequent client visits in order to identify client-driven solutions to emissions reductions issues.

Skills Required:
-Financial modeling skills, knowledge and experience related to heavy industry, power or renewable energy,
-Ability to identify projects which require CDM products and experience of originating and structuring CER products,
-Some corporate and/or project finance origination experience is preferred,
-Fluency in written and spoken English is required,
-Good interpersonal skills and a strong knowledge of the Australasian markets is desirable for this role.
