Our client, a European based commodities house, is looking to expand on its energy derivative sales to EU clients.
Our client is experiencing stable and progressive growth and is looking to expand further its client base throughout the EU.
The candidate will have broad exposure to OTC energy derivatives in a marketing or sales role, preferably at a bank.
The candidate will need enough client coverage experience to affect their own book of business, and offer a broad range of commodities experience. Our client also expects a candidate with general industry coverage experience.
A pre-requisite will also be a relevant degree in finance, MBA etc.
The individual will need to focus on :
-Using proven sales skills to convert potential opportunities into active clients (corporates, end users, producers, institutions, etc.),
-Selling a wide range of commodity derivatives (gas, oil, coal, etc.),
-Working with internal teams to ensure that annual group targets are met and exceeded,
-Create a business management plan for each client,
-Deliver against both personal and team business development targets.
