This top tier investment bank is looking to recruit an experienced carbon emissions originator to help develop and grow their Houston team.

Responsibilities include:

-Originating emissions products across the US, Canadian and LATAM markets,
-Developing the business and originating new innovative emissions products to solve clients' emissions problems on the voluntary and regulatory markets,
-Working with the sales and trading staff in order to structure the most sellable and tradable emissions products,
-Increasing revenues and originating RECs, CDMs and CERs from day one,
-Leading a team of originators and providing direction to junior colleagues.

Skills Required:

-Excellent emissions origination experience (specifically RECs, CDMs and CERs),
-Experience of originating products on the US markets is essential.  Any additional LATAM and/or Canadian markets experience would be a plus but is not essential,
-Experience of originating renewable energy products is also desirable for this role, however at least some emissions origination experience in addition to this is essential,
-Excellent level of written and spoken English,
-Good client-facing skills.
