This top tier investment bank is looking to recruit an experienced short-term structured commodity finance originator for their New York LATAM focused team.

Responsibilities include:
-Originating short-term structured commodity finance products for LATAM clients, mainly focusing on oil and gas products but also working occasionally on softs,
-Leading a team of structured commodity finance originators and working to develop the business and expand the teams' coverage form day one,
-Frequent meetings with the sales staff in order to best asses how to originate the most relevant and saleable solutions for LATAM clients.

Skills Required:
-Extensive experience of originating short-term structured commodity finance products, ideally within oil and gas. Softs experience would also be good to see and all commodities experience will be taken into consideration,
-Ideally experience of focusing on the LATAM markets (this is not essential but would be a huge advantage as this role will be focused solely on the LATAM markets),
-Fluency in either Spanish or Portuguese is essential to this role, as is an excellent level of written and spoken English,
-Experience of leading a team and a high level of client facing skills would also be desirable for this role, but not essential.
