An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top ranked investment bank with a major presence in Asia, Europe and the USA.
They are now expanding their New York based sales team and they are looking to add a strong individual who will work in the equity sales trading department.
The team sells Pan Asian Equities to institutions (banks, hedge funds, long only funds, asset managers, and insurance companies) in the greater New York area, Boston and the East Coast, as well as a broad coverage of other US/North American regions, and they are now looking to add an exceptional individual to their team who will be an expert in the institutional market.
Key responsibilities:
-Sales and trading of Asian/ex Japan (Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysian, Chinese, Thai) Equity,
-Selling to institutional investors in the greater New York City area (mainly hedge funds, and long only funds), and throughout other US regions,
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the USA market.
Skills required:
-Proven track record of selling Asian Equities to institutions in the States, ideally in a similar role,
-Good Product knowledge on Asian Equity,
-Excellent sales and communication skills,
-Willing to travel, as the successful candidate will take part in meetings in Hong Kong and Singapore.
